Machining
ACP's 15,000-square-foot machining facility features fourteen state-of-the-art CNC machining centers.
- ACP provides finished parts, with one-source responsibility for our product quality. Shipping costs and paperwork are reduced.
- We have developed superior expertise in machining austempered ductile iron.

Examples of our machining facilities:
Double spindle lathe
This lathe, shown in the left-hand picture above, produces parts that are turned on both sides in one operation. Live tooling allows drilling of bolt hole patterns away from the center line of the part.
Vertical machining center
This machine, shown in the picture second from the left at the top of the page, economically provides a larger work envelope than is available on our horizontal machining centers.
Horizontal machining centers
We have nine horizontal machining centers like the one pictured second from right, above, which permit machining of multiple sides of a part in one operation.
Custom-built machines
This multiple spindle drilling machine shown in the right-hand picture above produces a number of bolt holes in one operation.
